Full Time Employment (a job working 40 hours per week or more)
Maintenance and Facilities: Repairs electrical malfunctions - Installs and replaces light fixtures, bulbs, switches, and plugs
· Installs and maintains cameras, monitors, locking systems, security lighting and other related fixtures - Assembles, installs and repairs plumbing pipes, fixtures and fittings and opens clogged drains - Installs drywall and paint walls, ceilings and building exteriors, as needed - Repairs walls, ceilings and floors - Performs small cement jobs - Repairs and cleans windows - Repairs roofs, as needed - Performs preventative maintenance - Maintains records of maintenance activities - Orders and picks up maintenance supplies, as needed - Moves furniture and records, as needed - Assembles specifications for maintenance and repair projects - Obtains estimates for maintenance repairs and projects - Maintain inventory of equipment and maintenance supplies - Plows, shovels snow and spreads salt for ice control - Perform any and all weather duties as assigned
HVAC: - Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment - Performs repairs to heating systems and air conditioning units​ - Perform annual or semi-annual inspections - Work with service contractors on controls systems - Troubleshoot equipment and handle repairs - Work with FSM to determine repair or replacement of equipment - Determine if an outside contractor will be used or if maintenance department is going to be responsible Other: - Actively participate in County sponsored safety committee - Recommends changes and/or makes necessary repairs to correct hazards - Inspects buildings and property annually to ensure safe conditions - Works with fire department during annual inspection (follows up on any deficiencies or recommendation) - Attends meetings and serves on temporary committees, as requested - Maintains and increases knowledge and skills through attendance at meetings, conferences, training seminars, and in-service training - Performs additional duties and assignments, as requested WORKING CONDITIONS: - Must be able to respond to emergency calls twenty-four (24) hours a day when on call - Work outdoors and in adverse weather conditions, as required - Travel between buildings, as required - Required to use personal protection equipment, when appropriate - Required to complete safety training
Full Time Employment (a job working 40 hours per week or more)Essential Functions:- Operate dump truck moving equipment/materials to and from job site and plowing snow.- Spreads and rakes hot mix and other paving materials to grade on roadways.- Installs, repairs and replaces drainage conduits, culverts and tiles. Using hand tools, power tools, small and light equipment including shovels, hand tampers and jackhammers- Uses asphaltic materials to seal roads. - Installs, repairs, relocates guardrail structures, including digging post holes manually, bolting, cutting, welding, repairing rail sections.- Installs, replaces, repairs and relocates roadway signage.- Assists in removal or replacement of bridges and large culverts.- Performs the duties of landscaping roadsides. This includes mowing all types of foliage, trimming trees, spraying roadsides and operating tractors to maintain right-of-way.- Performs snow removal and spreads de-icing materials using trucks and plows, at all hours of the day and night.-Performs preventative maintenance on highway equipment and vehicles. This includes oil changes and lubrication, light engine work, adding lubricants and performing routine adjustments.- Performs custodial duties as directed by Supervisor.- Fills out daily logs, timesheets and maintenance records.- Regular and predictable attendance and ability to get along well with others is required.Unusual Working Conditions:- Outside work in extreme temperatures in all weather conditions and work in dusty and noisy conditions.- Exposure to mechanical, electrical, water and weather related hazardous conditions.- Subject to be called and required to report on a 24 hour basisNormal scheduled work hours: Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm
