I’m glad to see child abuse prevention being treated as a community responsibility, not just a family issue hidden behind closed doors. Early trauma can echo for years, and sometimes it shows up later as anxiety, isolation, substance use, or untreated pain. That is one reason I think conversations about fentanyl dependency should include compassion, medical detox, counselling, rehab, relapse prevention, and aftercare instead of blame. Protecting children also means building healthier adults around them. When communities invest in awareness and treatment, they interrupt cycles before another generation has to carry the damage alone.
